This program consists of forty hours of didactic and experiential training in hypnotherapy. Those who successfully complete this program will be familiar with directive and non-directive hypnosis methods for therapeutic interventions: basic interviews, sensory acuity, recognition of presenting problems and underlying issues, ideomotor response, initial and subsequent sensitizing events, abreaction, Parts Therapy, integration, catharsis and forgiveness. Each participant is responsible for using these methods in compliance with the relevant laws pertaining to the use of hypnosis for therapeutic purposes. The will be ten (10) hours of outside reading and practice, and a take home test to complete, for those who seek a certificate of attendance. This course is accepted by the IMDHA as an intermediate course, and can be applied toward the hours required by the IMDHA certification.
